Create an FTP account in Cpanel

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Click on the FTP Accounts icon from the top “Files” section.
  3. Here you will find the options to Add FTP Account.
  4. Log In:  The FTP username that you want to set. FTP will be the first part of your FTP username
  5. Domain: Select the domain name that you want to create the FTP with. So, if your domain is domain.com and you choose the username “ftpuser” then your final FTP username would be ftpuser@domain.com
  6. Password: Enter a strong password for your FTP user.
  7. Password (Again): Enter the same password again here.
  8. Directory: Set the directory that you would like to use for that FTP home directory.
  9. Quota: You can set the quota manually or select unlimited so that it can use all of your available disk space.
  10. Now click on the “Create FTP Account” button and your below account will be created.
